About The Position

Operate edge banding machinery to apply edge material to countertop components. Set up and adjust machine settings for various countertop sizes, materials, and edge profiles. Review production work orders and specifications to ensure accuracy. Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, adhesion, color match, and dimensional accuracy. Trim, sand, and finish edges as needed to meet quality standards. Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on equipment. Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and production delays to supervision. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Maintain production records and documentation as required. Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies. Assist in other production areas as needed to support manufacturing operations. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.

Requirements

  • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing or woodworking experience preferred.
  • Experience operating edge banding, CNC, woodworking, or similar production equipment is a plus.
