This is a part-time position for an ED & Urgent Care Clinical Resource RN. The role involves ensuring reliable and punctual attendance, communicating necessary information, serving as a point of contact for clinical issues, assessing patient acuity, conducting nursing rounds, serving as a liaison for interdisciplinary team meetings, assisting with admissions/discharges, medication delivery, and patient throughput. The RN will also monitor conditions and throughput in the Inpatient Unit, ED, and PACU, respond to trauma activations and emergency situations, participate in nursing committees, and demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based practice for performance improvement. Additionally, the role involves ensuring appropriate bed utilization, assisting clinical staff, maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring staff take breaks, conducting medical chart audits, overseeing crash cart checks, serving as an ambassador for Service Excellence, working independently, and performing end-of-shift medication counts. The RN will also attend meetings and serve as an Inpatient EMR “Super User.”
