Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s. The ED Tele Tech plays a vital dual role in supporting both clinical care and departmental operations within the Emergency Department. This position is responsible for continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms, promptly reporting changes to nursing staff, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient data. The Telemetry Technician maintains visual surveillance of monitor screens, identifies equipment malfunctions, and communicates urgent information to the appropriate clinical team members in a timely manner. In addition to telemetry duties, the Unit Clerk component supports efficient departmental workflow through accurate order transcription, message distribution, and coordination of communication between nursing staff, ancillary departments, patients, and families. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized nursing station, processing physician orders, managing supplies, assembling, and maintaining medical records, and assisting with patient census functions such as admissions, discharges, and transfers. Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
