ED Technician/Emergency Department/Per Diem
About The Position
The Emergency Department is a fast-paced, dynamic department with a highly experienced team. The staff consists of physicians, registered nurses, technicians, and health unit coordinators who are close-knit and work exceptionally well together. ED Techs provide assistance to the Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse with the provision of care for ED patients. Follows written and verbal instructions of the Charge Registered Nurse. The department has over 10,000 visits a year and holds Time Sensitive Emergency designations in Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI through the State of Idaho. Bonner General also participates in the tele-stroke program through Sacred Heart. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a challenging, yet exciting career, caring for a broad span of illness and injury. Requirements
- Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide course or EMT course
- Current State of Idaho Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Current BLS certification

- Prior CNA experience preferred
