ED Tech (EMT or LNA) 24 hours/week Days

Responsible for responding to medical emergencies and delivering patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, including at the scene and during transport to the hospital. This includes assessing patients, determining appropriate emergency care, and administering treatment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma
- Emergency Medical Technician required
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required
- Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] - Generic - HR Only required
- Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful and crisis situations.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Medical Technician [NREMT-Basic] - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
- EMT Experience 0-1 year preferred
Responsibilities
- Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
- Provide patients with emergency care using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide all care with respect for patient rights.
- Transport patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Operate and drive an ambulance in accordance with applicable safety policies and laws.
