About The Position

Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training or Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution
• Peer respect
• Critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated
• Customer service skills and/or orientation
• Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstance prior
• Ability to multitask

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner
• Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office
