About The Position

This is a full-time position for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department (ED) Staff Development team. The role focuses on educating and training nursing staff within the ED, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care. The position requires a strong clinical background, excellent teaching abilities, and proficiency in various training methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
  • Advanced certification such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC required
  • Exceptional teaching, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in instructional design and the use of simulation-based training methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment while maintaining calm and clear communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare education preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing or staff development preferred
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development (CNPD) or other relevant certifications preferred
