About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Blue Ridge, Georgia, to hire a dedicated ED Registrar who will serve as the first point of contact for patients entering the Emergency Department. In this vital front-line role, you’ll be providing a warm welcome, accurate registration, and seamless coordination with clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Intermediate computer proficiency & data entry accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year in a hospital, clinic, or medical office preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency during shifts
- Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance, and personal information accurately
- Enter and update patient records in the hospital’s EHR system
- Collaborate with ED staff to support timely admissions and patient flow
- Respond to patient and visitor inquiries regarding hospital procedures and policies
