About The Position

An Emergency Department (ED) Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who oversees the daily operations and nursing staff within the ED, ensuring efficient and safe patient care. They are responsible for managing resources, implementing policies, and addressing issues that arise within the department. Their role also includes staff management, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of Nursing
• Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in NYS
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience
• One year in a leadership position
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Excellent leadership skills
