About The Position

Join our team as an ED Crisis Social Worker at Regions Hospital! You will be joining a dynamic interdisciplinary team of social workers, nurses and providers who truly live our values of partnership, compassion, excellence, and integrity every day! Our focus is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to meet the needs of our diverse patient population who are experiencing a mental health crisis, and other social support needs. The ED Crisis Clinician is a licensed mental health professional who provides essential front-line support within the Emergency Department at Regions Hospital. Working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment, the clinician delivers immediate crisis assessment, intervention, and short-term therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing mental health emergencies. Core responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, formulating individualized intervention and referral plans, and determining appropriate levels of care. All services are delivered through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered lens. In addition to direct clinical care, the ED Crisis Clinician serves as a key resource to the interdisciplinary team, offering consultation on the psychosocial dimensions of patient care. This role is vital in fostering a collaborative, responsive, and compassionate care environment aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health profession
  • 2 or more years of clinical experience in mental health setting
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)- MN Board of Social Work OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)- MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)- MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy OR Licensed Psychologist (LP)- MN Board of Psychology

Responsibilities
