About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ECS Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud platforms and Python development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various AWS services, DevOps CI/CD practices, and release management. This role involves working with Non-Prod & Production environments, applying patches and upgrades, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. You will also be responsible for demonstrating Jira stories to clients and documenting release notes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience specifically with AWS Services - ECS, Cloudformation, EC2, IAM, S3, ASG, ALB, Route53, SNS, SQS.
• Python Development experience (with writing unit tests, features, deploying to AWS Lambda).
• DevOps CI/CD exposure - Github Actions.
• Experience in handling Non-Prod & Production Releases, following Release & Change management principles.
• Experience with applying OS/Platform related Patches, Upgrades, determining Impacts & Documenting Implementation steps.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodology and ceremonies.
• Ability to demo Jira stories to Client, articulate the Implementation, explain the Issue / Impact, document Release Notes.

Nice To Haves

• Github repository showcasing Python Development skills or AWS IaC skills.

Responsibilities
