About The Position
The Industry Strategists team within the Economics Enterprise Unit is seeking an intern to support a range of quantitative modeling projects, including our industry revenue forecasting dashboard. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience applying statistical and programming skills to real-world economic analysis. This is a fully remote/virtual position.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- Working knowledge of R and Python (coursework or project experience is fine)
- Familiarity with data manipulation and basic statistical/forecasting concepts
- Strong attention to detail and interest in applied economic analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
- Reliable internet access and a suitable home workspace for virtual collaboration
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of the industry revenue forecasting dashboard
- Support data collection, cleaning, and validation across various modeling projects
- Help build and refine statistical/econometric models under the guidance of senior team members
- Create visualizations and summary outputs to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Contribute to documentation of modeling methodologies and processes
- Collaborate with Industry Strategists on ad hoc analytical requests
