Economic Development Manager
About The Position
As an Economic Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting sustainable economic growth across regional NSW. Working closely with businesses, industry groups, local government and government partners, you'll identify opportunities to attract investment, strengthen industries, support job creation and grow regional economies. You'll provide strategic advice and market intelligence, facilitate access to government programs and coordinate initiatives that deliver positive outcomes for businesses and communities. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys building relationships, managing projects and influencing economic development outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in economic development, business growth or investment facilitation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted partnerships
- Tertiary qualifications in business, economics or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to identify opportunities and develop practical growth strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience managing projects and delivering quality outcomes to deadlines
- Sound commercial and financial acumen with strong analytical capability
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
