Under general direction, this position is responsible for performing complex, specialized office and field work related to a variety of subjects based on assignment within the Department. These subjects include economic development, redevelopment, community development, low income/affordable housing development, environmental planning/compliance, and homeless services. The role involves planning, financial management, monitoring grant compliance, contract administration, subrecipient and development monitoring, preparation of plans and reports, leading community outreach and engagement, and serving as a resource to other City staff, outside agencies, and the public. This is a limited-term position through June 30, 2030, contingent on available grant funding.
