About The Position

The Digital Marketing Strategist, Web & App Experience is responsible for developing and driving strategic digital initiatives that enhance the guest journey across the website and mobile app for their digital properties. This role focuses on driving engagement, personalization, and conversion across key guest touchpoints—including park information, tickets, add-ons, hotels, and vacation packages—by leveraging progressive data capture, behavioral insights, and cross-channel experience strategy. Operating as part of a highly collaborative digital strategy team, this position does not manage CMS updates but instead focuses on defining the strategic direction that guides digital product, design, and development teams. The ideal candidate will understand the full digital ecosystem and be able to connect data, business objectives, and guest behavior into actionable strategies that fuel personalization, loyalty, and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, digital strategy, or digital experience optimization.
  • Strong preference for experience-based eCommerce (travel, attractions, hospitality, entertainment) over product/retail inventory backgrounds.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced digital environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect data, behaviors, and business goals.
  • Understanding of web and app user journeys, conversion funnels, and experience design.
  • Experience with behavioral data, analytics insights, and audience segmentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with precision.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with personalization frameworks, CRM/loyalty, data strategy, or digital guest experience optimization is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain holistic digital strategies for the website and mobile app that align with business goals and enhance the end-to-end guest experience.
  • Drive initiatives related to guest account strategy, data progression, personalization, loyalty integration, and seamless commerce experiences.
  • Partner closely with product owners, analytics teams, UX, and creative teams to ensure strategic alignment across workstreams.
  • Lead the strategic framework for Progressive 1st Party Data Capture across web and app.
  • Define the multi-layered signal capture ecosystem—including explicit and implicit trip signals, behavioral indicators, and augmented 3rd-party data—to create richer guest profiles.
  • Develop phased, low-friction progressive profiling methods to gather data across multiple interactions.
  • Translate data signals into actionable audience segments to support personalized offers, content, and recommendations.
  • Partner with marketing, eCommerce, product, technology, analytics, and CRM teams to ensure strategies support larger business goals.
  • Collaborate on initiatives related to loyalty strategy, ensuring the membership ecosystem enhances the guest account experience.
  • Manage complex digital initiatives with clear communication, documentation, and timeline alignment.
  • Translate business requirements into strategic digital roadmaps that guide execution teams.
  • Ensure all strategies support accuracy, feasibility, and on-time delivery of digital projects.
