This hands-on role involves working outdoors as a Restoration Technician, making a tangible impact on vital ecosystems, and operating specialized equipment while gaining valuable experience in environmental restoration. Technicians work on projects including Stream restoration, Stormwater, Restoration planting, Invasive plant removal/management, and Landscape construction. The work is seasonally steady, requiring over 50 hours per week, with opportunities for weekend work during peak periods. Travel up to 75% within the region (Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, and Ohio) is required, including overnight stays of 1–4 nights for some job sites. Free RES-owned housing is available upon request for travel.
