This is a full-time, one-year (with possibility of extension) professional staff position that is jointly funded by the US Forest Service Research Data Archive (20%) and the US Forest Service Northern Research Station (80%). The primary purpose is to assist University of Maine and US Forest Service researchers to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret research data from ongoing long-term silvicultural experiments, and to organize, standardize, and make research-related record archives available online. The majority of the work would be conducted in an office and in the field at the US Forest Service Hart Building and PEF in Bradley, Maine. Some in-state and out-of-state travel may also be required.
