About The Position

This position is for an Early Childhood Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at Wendell Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with young children with disabilities.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and special education practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete a three (3) year work history in the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
• Attach all required documents at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience with specific disabilities relevant to early childhood.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to young children with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
