Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex diagnostic imaging studies by skillfully maneuvering transducers and selecting precise technical parameters to capture the clearest possible clinical picture.
  • Identify critical pathologies and anatomical structures in real-time to provide radiologists with the high-quality data necessary for life-saving diagnoses.
  • Guide patients through their exams by ensuring comfortable positioning and clear communication, maintaining a safe and empathetic environment throughout the procedure.
  • Optimize the diagnostic workflow by meticulously validating image quality and patient history in PACS, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to accurate records.
  • Uphold rigorous safety and quality control standards to ensure every procedure complies with regulatory requirements and provides the highest level of patient protection.
