About The Position

Perform routine and complex diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to evaluate heart structures and hemodynamics following established protocols. Set up equipment, adjust technical parameters, and manually maneuver transducers while properly positioning patients for clear imaging. Identify cardiac pathology, normal anatomy, artifacts, and equipment limits while ensuring high-quality images and patient data are promptly sent to PACS. Maintain a clean, orderly facility and execute safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance standards across the department.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
