About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a motivated Echocardiography Student. The student will support the department as assigned while gaining experience and educational opportunities. The position is based in Norfolk, Virginia, with flexi daytime hours. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility and the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School. It is home to the region’s only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit, as well as Sentara Heart Hospital, Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, and other specialized services. The hospital is an accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, with specialties including heart and vascular care, neurosciences, neurosurgery, urology, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women’s health.
