About The Position

Are you an experienced echocardiography sonographer passionate about teaching and mentorship? At CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions) , we’re looking for a dedicated Instructor / Clinical Coordinator to guide students through both classroom learning and clinical training—helping them build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in healthcare. In this role, you’ll make a direct impact by shaping future sonographers, enhancing curriculum, and supporting student success from day one to career readiness .

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field (required)
• Appropriate credentials in echocardiography sonography (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience as an Echocardiography Sonographer
• Strong teaching, mentoring, and student support skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Passion for education and commitment to student success and professional development
• Ability to create a positive, ethical, and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based instruction aligned with CHCP curriculum and standards
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional activities
• Provide hands-on clinical guidance and mentorship to students
• Establish performance benchmarks and deliver timely, constructive feedback
• Create a dynamic, student-centered learning environment
• Support students who need additional guidance and encourage active participation
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
• Participate in faculty meetings, campus initiatives, and program development efforts
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and program improvement
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements and integrate them into teaching
• Collaborate with Program Advisory Committees to ensure industry alignment
