About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer for a 13-week travel assignment in St Johnsbury, VT. This position involves performing high-quality echocardiograms, producing accurate cardiac measurements, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care. The role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and imaging techniques, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

Minimum one year of echocardiography experience required.
Travel experience required.
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic imaging techniques.
Must have Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required.
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
Drug screen and background check (facility required)

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols and professional standards.
Produce accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient history, optimize imaging, recognize significant abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings when appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical settings.
