About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer for a 13-week travel assignment in St Johnsbury, VT. This position involves performing high-quality echocardiograms, producing accurate cardiac measurements, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care. The role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and imaging techniques, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of echocardiography experience required.
  • Travel experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic imaging techniques.
  • Must have Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required.
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

  • 3 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols and professional standards.
  • Produce accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
  • Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient history, optimize imaging, recognize significant abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical settings.
