The Echocardiogram Technologist is a patient care position including performing of echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, stress portion of nuclear testing, treadmill stress tests, administering holter and event monitors. Requirements
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 2 years of experience in ambulatory or acute cardiac setting.
Responsibilities
- Performing of echocardiograms
- Performing stress echocardiograms
- Performing stress portion of nuclear testing
- Performing treadmill stress tests
- Administering holter and event monitors
