Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Program in Major/Area of Concentration: Allied Health Sciences
• RDCS and RVT - Registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or RCS and RVS - Registered through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Both credentials must be completed within one year of graduation according to accreditation standards.
• BLS - Basic Life Support.
• De-escalation training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Sonographer provides noninvasive vascular/cardiac testing using ultrasound skills and other noninvasive testing modalities knowledge.
• This individual collaborates with customers to assure quality testing.
• The incumbent has access to confidential information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with customers.
• This individuals works under the direct supervision of the manager.
• Provides services at multiple sites as needed.
• On-call work as needed.
• Works with patients of all ages.
