About The Position

BB Imaging is growing its vascular and echo team and is looking for experienced Vascular and Echo Sonographers interested in putting their expertise to work in a different clinical setting. This is a PRN/Supplemental schedule opportunity for those already working in vascular or echo ultrasound and looking to add hours without making a full career move. The role involves performing sonographic procedures, traveling to clinic sites, inspecting patient charts, creating reports, communicating findings, and maintaining equipment. The position offers the support of a sonographer-led organization where clinical quality is paramount and team members understand the intricacies of the role. Requirements

• RVT or RVS credential
• RDCS, RCS or RCCS credential
• 1+ years echo or vascular sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers
