About The Position

NAVIX Diagnostix is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to join our growing team serving patients in Hyde Park and Roxbury Crossing, Massachusetts. In this role, you will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations that support accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes. Working closely with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams, you will utilize advanced echocardiography skills to produce high-quality diagnostic studies while delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers a unique part-time schedule with a combination of two and three-day workweeks, providing flexibility while allowing you to maintain and expand your clinical expertise. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Active RDCS, RCS, or ACS credential
  • Current BLS certification
  • Knowledge of EKG recognition and cardiac stress testing
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years of echocardiography experience
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Experience performing a broad range of cardiac ultrasound studies

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures within scope of practice
  • Obtain and review patient history, physical examination findings, and supporting clinical information to facilitate accurate diagnostic interpretation
  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images and related data in accordance with NAVIX and client protocols
  • Recognize significant or life-threatening abnormalities and communicate findings appropriately to the medical team
  • Provide preliminary technical findings to interpreting physicians as appropriate
  • Maintain equipment, documentation, supplies, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ensure patient and employee safety while delivering exceptional patient care
