About The Position

The Advanced Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures to assist in diagnosing and monitoring a wide range of medical conditions. The role requires technical expertise in operating ultrasound equipment, patient care skills, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. The technician collaborates and communicates with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of Sonography and completion of required clinical hours, or on-the-job training by a preceptor registered in cardiac ultrasound.
• One year of relevant experience.
• State licensure may be required, depending on the state of practice.
• ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
