Performs high quality echocardiographic examinations as ordered obtaining all data necessary for diagnosis. This includes M-mode, Doppler studies, 2-D and Stress, bubble studies, contrast echoes, and tissue doppler, and LA volume. The technician will correlate diagnosis to findings and investigate abnormalities, input study information and technical findings into ProSolv accurately, and properly maintain equipment and work areas. Responsibilities also include stocking supplies, compiling data and statistics, participating in weekly Echo Conference, making copies of studies for conference and records release, keeping current on all trends and changes in the echo field, and making appointments in the absence of the Echo Secretary. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4:30 PM, or four 10-hour days.
