Operate, adjust, and maintain imaging equipment while accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate anatomical and technical parameters for diagnostic examinations. Perform routine and complex imaging studies, manually maneuver transducers as required, and assist with a variety of imaging procedures. Recognize relevant anatomical structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations to ensure accurate image acquisition and diagnostic quality. Implement safety and quality control standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and departmental requirements. Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, including accurate patient information and lead markers, while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly imaging environment.
