About The Position

The endoscopy technician assists patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care, as well as assisting the nurse with nursing activities. He/she is responsible for cleaning of equipment, work areas, transporting patients, and other duties as assigned. He/she assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent.
• Accredited Scrub Tech program or equivalent.
• Previous Endoscopy Tech experience in hands-on "scrubbing" endo procedures.
• BLS/CPR (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Assists the nurse with nursing activities.
• Responsible for cleaning of equipment and work areas.
• Transports patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
