About The Position

Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of service for the area of practice. Completes cardiology procedures paying particular attention to all details insuring a quality study. Reviews all procedures obtained by new hires and students for accuracy, correct data and technical data. Demonstrates proper technique for performing routine ECGs. Acquires Signal Average ECGs according to physician's specifications. Operates holter scanning equipment, scans are thoroughly analyzed, significant data recognized and representative strips documented. Assists in the performance of stress testing, treadmill exercise routine, nuclear medicine and stress echocardiography. Proper procedure is adhered to 100% of the time. Accurate data is obtained for physician interpretation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year of work experience.
• Ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
• Current CPR required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Technician is preferred.
• National Certification for Cardiology Technicians is preferred.
