About The Position

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is the first full-service, acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas. Serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County, we are a 46-bed hospital that is designed to expand as the community grows. Providing everything from emergency care and advanced surgery to imaging and labor and delivery, our hospital has 16 emergency department beds, two operating suites, and the latest digital and medical technologies. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
  • A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
  • Current Basic Life Support required

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
