About The Position

This role involves capturing high-fidelity diagnostic images of cardiac structures and hemodynamics to provide physicians with critical data for diagnoses. The Echo Tech will navigate advanced imaging technology and manual techniques to identify subtle pathologies, ensuring studies meet clinical and regulatory standards. They will also serve as a technical expert, recognizing significant anatomical findings and equipment limitations to ensure accurate results. The position requires championing patient safety and data integrity through quality control and precise documentation in PACS. Additionally, the role coordinates the end-to-end imaging experience, from patient positioning to final documentation, to ensure a seamless and compassionate patient journey.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date OR Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date OR Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date OR Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date OR Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-fidelity diagnostic images of cardiac structures and hemodynamics.
  • Navigate advanced imaging technology and manual techniques to identify subtle pathologies.
  • Consult as a technical expert by recognizing significant anatomical findings and equipment limitations.
  • Champion patient safety and data integrity by maintaining rigorous quality control and ensuring all digital records (PACS) are precise, clear, and complete.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end imaging experience—from patient positioning to final documentation.
