About The Position

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is seeking an ECHO Cardiology Tech to join their team. This is a PRN position with days and on-call requirements. The role involves performing non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, and TEE studies. The technician will be responsible for performing M-mode, 2-D, and Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric, and adult patients, as well as other assigned duties within the Cardiology department. Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound school.
1 Year experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress, required.
Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, required.
RCS / RCIS / RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
ARCS or CCI required.
Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

Perform non-Invasive Cardiology studies to include ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE studies.
Able to perform M-mode, 2-D, Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric and adult patients.
Perform all other duties as assigned within the Cardiology department.
Develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
Possess excellent customer service skills and a “Can do” attitude.
Other duties as assigned.
