About The Position

Southpaws Malvern – ECC Nurse – Full-Time opportunities Our vision is to be the first choice for expert veterinary care, why? Because our pets are our family. The Role: Join our passionate team as we continue to expand our Specialist led 24-hour Emergency department at Southpaws Malvern. We know that emergencies don’t follow a schedule and that’s why we’re looking for skilled Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Nurses to join our dynamic and passionate team of experts. This role is based at our Malvern hospital, with our Criticalist, (DACVECC) , Senior MANZCVS-ECC clinicians and senior and dedicated ECC and ICU nurses. We are offering around the clock care for any and all emergencies, day or night, big or small we are here to help 24/7. You’ll work a rotating roster that will be a mix of, days, nights, swing shifts, as well as a weekend rotation. Our rosters are carefully designed to support a positive work-life balance as well as flexibility with longer shifts but less of them so you get time off to live. Our hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year , giving our ECC team the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during the most critical moments in a pet’s life. Requirements

Certificate IV or equivalent qualification with ideally 2 years of experience.
Previous work in ECC and/or with overnight shifts will be seen as an advantage but not essential
A professional and positive demeanour
Ability to work efficiently with initiative in a fast-paced environment, both in a team and autonomously
Willingness to learn, develop skills and experience.
Tackles each day with curiosity and has the patients best interest in mind
Takes their job seriously but does not take themselves too seriously
