About The Position
Watson Civil Construction, Inc. is a premier heavy/highway civil contractor working throughout Florida specializing in large site infrastructure, underground, and road work. We are seeking an Earthwork Foreman. The Foreman will directly supervise and coordinate activities of the crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised.
Requirements
- Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
- Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.
- Monitors the implementation of safety orientations and provides coaching for improvement.
Nice To Haves
- FDOT experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises a crew.
- Reports on work to Superintendent.
- Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
- Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.
- Reports on time and materials.
- Monitors the implementation of safety orientations and provides coaching for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
