About The Position

Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) is seeking qualified and competent experts to join their part-time adjunct faculty pool. This pool is for potential non-benefited positions during the 2025-2026 academic years. Applications will be held by discipline, and consulted when a position opens. Adjunct faculty are responsible for providing students with a high-quality learning environment, utilizing their expertise in classrooms, laboratories, and online platforms. Applicants are encouraged to indicate their availability by completing the Adjunct Faculty Questionnaire. Requirements

• Masters degree with a major in course content area
• Evidence of competence in the area of instruction
• Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years teaching experience in a community college

Responsibilities

• Instruction in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes
• Instructional preparation
• Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades in a timely fashion
• Availability to students by appointment when mutually convenient
• Not more than one faculty meeting per session
• Other duties as required
