The Earned Media Assistant plays a key support role in bringing Bloomingdale’s brand story to life through thoughtful, strategic external communications. This position supports the execution of earned media initiatives that build brand awareness, strengthen cultural relevance, and amplify key moments across fashion, retail, and lifestyle media. The role contributes to storytelling efforts across product launches, special events, store openings and renovations, digital initiatives, and seasonal and holiday campaigns. Media relations is a core focus, including supporting relationships with press, influencers, tastemakers, and vendor partners. Success in this role requires strong organization, clear communication, curiosity about the media landscape, and the ability to collaborate across a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
