About The Position

The Early Morning Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and associates before the store opens. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while completing daily cleaning and sanitation tasks. The Early Morning Janitorial Associate plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and pleasant shopping experience for customers and a productive work environment for store associates.

Requirements

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.
Must be available to work early morning hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and vacuum all sales floor areas, fitting rooms, offices, and stockrooms.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the store and replace liners.
Dust fixtures, shelves, displays, windows, and other store surfaces.
Clean entranceways and ensure floors are free of debris and safety hazards.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to store management promptly.
Follow all company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently to ensure the store is clean and ready for customers before opening.
