About The Position

H&S Enterprises, Inc., working exclusively with Cash-Wa Distributing, is seeking Early Morning Class A CDL Route Drivers. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with local businesses and desire a Monday-Friday route that ensures they are home every night, while also providing a physically active job. The company, Cash-Wa Distributing, is one of the largest privately-owned food service distributors in the Midwest, and its continuous growth creates additional opportunities for drivers. New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus. The position involves picking up packed trailers, following delivery routes, building loads for customers, accurately scanning delivery tickets, locating products, assisting customers with product placement, securing necessary signatures, and fostering relationships with repeat customers. While several routes exist, the currently open positions include a Daytime 5am Route (Monday-Friday, 4 or 5 days per week, with Friday starting at 1am) and a Daytime 3am & 5am Route (Mon/Wed/Thurs at 5am, Tues/Fri at 3am). Other routes, such as Key Account 12am and 2am routes, are mentioned but are not currently open.

Requirements

18 years old
Ability to train and obtain CDL within 3 months
Have a good driving record
High school or equivalent education
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs

Responsibilities

Picking up the packed trailer
Following the delivery route given
Building loads to take in to the customer
Reading and scanning delivery tickets
Finding products and building dolly loads
Working with the customer on where to place their products
Getting required signatures
Developing relationships with repeat customers
Unloading products utilizing a two-wheel cart off the back of the truck (for Key Account routes)
