About The Position
Early Learning Corps is seeking passionate individuals to serve as Early Learning Tutors in pre-kindergarten classrooms. This role focuses on helping young learners build essential early literacy and math skills, fostering their confidence and igniting a love for learning. Tutors will partner with teachers, deliver proven activities, and provide one-on-one support to students. The program offers comprehensive training and ongoing coaching to ensure tutors are well-equipped to make a significant impact.
Requirements
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
Responsibilities
- Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive
- Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day
- Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach
- Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software
- Commit to your own growth through coaching and training
- Share your experience with community
