About The Position

The Early Learning Interventionist Teacher will provide a quality educational program to help students reach their full potential. This role involves planning and preparing instruction based on district curriculum and student needs, demonstrating knowledge of content areas and child development, and providing instruction in core academic areas. The teacher will also design and use assessment data to monitor student progress, create a positive learning environment, manage classroom procedures and behavior, communicate with families, and collaborate with other educators. Additionally, the position requires implementing 504 and IEP accommodations, participating in professional development, and adhering to district policies.

Requirements

  • NH elementary teacher certification (N-3, K-6 or K-8 depending on grade of position) or proof of eligibility for NH certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare instruction based upon District curriculum and student needs
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all content areas and child development
  • Provide instruction in all core academic areas in assigned grade (literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies) following district curriculum, setting high and attainable outcomes
  • Design and use assessment data to monitor progress of all students towards established standards, maintaining accurate records
  • Create an environment of respect and rapport that establishes a culture of learning
  • Manage classroom procedures and student behavior
  • Communicate with students and their families
  • Collaborate with other educators within the school and across the District
  • Implement 504 and IEP accommodations and modifications
  • Actively participate within the professional community, growing professionally, reflecting on teaching and demonstrating professionalism
  • Follow District policies and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the principal
