About The Position

The YMCA of the North Shore is seeking a dedicated and EEC Teacher-Qualified Classroom Educator to join our Early Learning Program in Plaistow, NH. This role focuses on nurturing young minds, fostering curiosity, creativity, and compassion in a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. The educator will build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, support diverse learning styles, and contribute to the mission-driven work of the YMCA.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Meet Teacher qualifications as determined by the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS).
A solid understanding of children’s growth and development—and the creativity to turn this knowledge into engaging, age-appropriate activities!
Complete EEC fingerprinting prior to your first day.
Keep all required documents and certifications current in your educator file.
Complete all trainings, certifications, and program orientation following EEC and YMCA of the North Shore guidelines.
Maintain current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification.
