Helen Farabee Centers’ ECI Program, as the designated provider of Early Childhood Intervention Services operates in compliance with contract requirements specified by Texas Health/Human Services-ECI Division and rules established in 26 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Part 1, Chapter 350. Under the direction of the ECI Program Director and management of the EIS Supervisor, the EIS has the necessary authority to plan and provide services to eligible individuals of the ECI Program in home and community settings within a 10-county area. Travel to designated counties is required, as is flexibility in scheduling. Telehealth practices may be employed as a strategy for service provision. HFC incorporates principles of trauma-informed care throughout the agency, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and a safe and respectful environment for all individuals served and staff. All job descriptions include the responsibility to learn about and implement trauma-informed practices within the scope of work for the position. Reassignment is a condition of employment that may occur at the employer’s discretion. Work location and hours could change based on program needs.
