About The Position

Merakey is seeking an Early Intervention Program Supervisor to join their Early Intervention division. This role involves managing various aspects of the Early Intervention program, including staff supervision, client services, and administrative tasks. The supervisor will ensure compliance with policies and procedures, handle parent concerns, and coordinate with external agencies and healthcare providers. A key aspect of the role is to support and train Service Coordinators, particularly in the use of electronic medical record systems and intervention models. The supervisor will also act as a primary contact and problem-solver in the Program Director's absence, including approving payroll and expense reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from accredited college or university.
  • At least 3 years experience in Early Intervention
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of Early Intervention, management, and attend trainings to be current in all policies and procedures.
  • Respond to all parent concerns and complaints, facilitate team meetings.
  • Attend OCDEL meetings, county meetings, and community events as required.
  • Assist Program Director in recruiting, interviewing, and training new Service Coordinators.
  • Assist Program Director in SC supervisions.
  • Assist Program Director in ongoing SC education and implementation of county and state initiatives.
  • Act as primary contact in Program Director’s absence.
  • Problem Solve billing issues in Program Director’s absence.
  • Approve payroll and expense reports in Program Director’s absence.
  • Monitor all Pelican activities and IFSPs. Respond promptly to all issues and educate/supervise SCs appropriately.
  • Maintain ongoing SC training and support for electronic medical record systems including Pelican and Avatar.
  • Maintain and oversees the electronic documents for program.
  • Coordinates with local pediatricians to ensure client health forms are obtained.
  • Presents self in a courteous, respectful, honest, and ethical manner towards all individuals.
  • Present a professional demeanor in behavior and attire.
  • Accepts supervision and gives feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attends internal and external meetings as required, and maintain 24 hours of ongoing training each fiscal year.
  • Educate families on outcomes and the family-training, routines-based model of intervention.
