About The Position

Criterion Child Enrichment’s Early Intervention programs serve families with children from birth to 3 years old who have developmental delays or are at risk for delays. The role supports children’s learning and development by educating, training, and supporting families. Services are provided in homes, early intervention centers, and community settings. Full-time, part-time, and fee-for-service positions are available.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university.
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365, including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
Ability to use computer-based technology, including a computer or laptop and cell phone.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
Bilingual/Bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
Use a parent coaching model when working with families.
Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
Collaborate with community providers, including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing or vision loss, to support continuity of services.
Provide service coordination for an assigned caseload, including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
