About The Position

We're launching an Early Head Start program at our newest location this fall and are looking for a compassionate, experienced Early Head Start Teacher to join our team. The first three years of life are filled with incredible growth and discovery. The best Early Head Start teachers know that every cuddle, conversation, diaper change, and playful interaction helps build trust, confidence, and lifelong learning. For 60 years, Phoenixville Area Children's Learning Center (PACLC) has provided children with an environment of love and learning. As a nonprofit early childhood education program, we believe children learn best through play, meaningful relationships, and caring interactions. Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field required; Bachelor's preferred.
At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in an early childhood setting.
Knowledge of infant and toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
PA clearances and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
A warm, dependable educator who is passionate about helping children and families thrive.

Responsibilities

Create nurturing, responsive relationships with infants, toddlers, and families.
Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
Provide high-quality daily care while supporting each child's developmental milestones.
Observe children's progress and individualize learning experiences.
Partner with families through open communication and collaboration.
Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom that meets licensing and Early Head Start standards.
