About The Position

As an Early Head Start Teacher, you'll create a nurturing environment for children ages 0-3 by designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, providing responsive primary care for infants and toddlers, and creating safe, clean, and culturally responsive learning spaces. You will ensure compliance with licensing requirements and Early Head Start Standards, support each child's unique cultural background and learning style, and promote social-emotional development and resilience. This role also involves challenging deficit-based narratives about children and families. Requirements

  • Infant Toddler Credential/CDA
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (with 18 ECE credits)
  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Development theory
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to obtain Registry Certificate within 90 days
