CEO’s many programs offer a broad range of services to meet the needs of our community. Our Troy Community Resource Center is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher that will nurture and support the development and learning of children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old through the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Use age-appropriate and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior. Build positive relationships with staff and families through positive and professional communication. Create a welcoming classroom environment. Plan and implement a daily education program for infant and toddler children that integrates all components of Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards. Work collaboratively with the classroom co-teacher and all other program staff. Complete all required paperwork including lesson plans, observation notes, health logs, child assessments, etc. Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment ensuring adequate supervision and compliance with licensing.
